2 Chicks & Company Host Fundraiser for Forward Motion Inc.

Today, Sunday October 12th, 2 Chicks & Company located in Middletown hosted a fundraiser for Forward Motion.  The Store was decorated beautifully with their Thanksgiving and Christmas decor. Everything from jewelry, purses, clothes, dishes, stemware, serving dishes, lamps, candles, ornaments are just a few items up for purchase. Family and Friends filled the store to support the business. It was great to visit with everyone, but more so it was great to see everyone supporting our business and the dreams we have for it.Partial Proceeds from today will go to benefit Forward Motion. These types of fundraisers will allow for us to put money towards bettering out facility by, insulting the arena for winter, giant ceiling fans for the summer, and adding another outdoor arena are just a few things we would like to begin with. These additions will aide us in better serving our clients and their families.

If you where unable to make it today, you can still go out to 2 Chicks & Company this week. When checking out say that you are here to support Forward Motion.

Thank you to all our friends and family who joined us today. Thank you to the ladies of 2 Chicks for opening their doors to Forward Motion for this wonderful fund raising opportunity. It was a great success and we look forward to doing this again soon.

The Special Olympics

Sunday was a wonderful day for Forward Motion at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was a beautiful day and our riders really looked the part. Dressed to impress in their breeches, shirts, coats and helmets our riders carried themselves with poise and grace. Watching them ride across the ring with a smile on their face brings nothing more than satisfaction to us. Seeing how happy the parents where of their children brings a tear to our eyes. For these riders who cannot partake recreational sports this was their opportunity to compete against other riders like themselves and excel.

We would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all our volunteers for their assistance this weekend. Without them we would not have been able to run as smoothly as we did. So Thank you to Rebecca, Amanda, Lisa, Kathy, Denise and Jeremy. Your countless hours do not go unnoticed and we appreciate all the hard work you give us week after week! We could not have asked for better volunteers.
