Forward Motion’s Margaret La Rocca will be teaching a class at the University of Louisville for the Kent School of Social Work this Summer. The class is titled, “Introduction to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy” It is open to bachelor and graduate students on Tuesday evenings starting May 10, 2011.

Exciting news! Our hippotherapy and therapeutic riding programs have moved to a new facility: 6101 Chamberlain Ln, Prospect, KY 40059, just one mile from the new Kosair Children’s Hospital at the back of Norton Commons Neighborhood. Our equine mental health program will continue at Goshen Crest Farm. Call or email to set up a time to come and see us at both locations.

Forward Motion is hosting an adoption support group on the last Tuesday of each month.  The session is from 6:00 - 7:30 and is open to school age children. For more please call or send an email.

The volunteers were wonderful, the horses beautiful, the riders exceptional and a gold, silver and bronze to top it. Forward Motion had a fantastic day at the Special Olympics!
